Costa Rica requires that you advise them in advance if your pet is arriving as air cargo. This is not required if the pet is arriving in the cabin of the aircraft.
To enter Costa Rica you need a veterinary certificate
issued by a licensed veterinarian. If entering from the
US this certificate must be stamped by the State USDA
office.
