If you have ordered a new Kennel Aire IATA approved pet crate,
you will not need to order ths accessory kit unless your pet is flying with Northwest, United, Horizon, and Alaska Airlines. If your pet is flying as cargo in one of these airlines, you will need hardware privided in this accessory kit to secure the crate.
If you already own a pet crate that meets airline requirements, and does not have the water and food bowl and the live animal stickers, you can purchase the PET CRATE ACCESSORY KIT that includes all of the items below. We have added
hardware that some airlines are currently requiring to strongly secure your crate. There are bolts and nuts for both small and large crates included.
The Small-Medium Kit ($19.95) will accommodate small, junior, and medium crates and includes:
- 2 Kennel Nonspill Food & Water Cups
- 1 Set of Live Animal Stickers
- 1 Set of Kennel Nuts & Bolts (8 of each size**)
- 1 Set Cable Ties for securing door & dial-latches and attaching vinyl sleeve to crate
- 1 Vinyl Sleeve (5"x7") to hold pet information and veterinary certificates
- 1 Set of Instructions on how to prepare your pet for travel in a crate
- 1 Pet Identification and Information slip
- Temporary Pet Collar Identification Tag
The intermediate kit ($23.95) includes everything listed above plus an additional 6 nuts and bolts. The large/extra large accessory kit ($26.95)
includes all of the above plus an additional 8 nuts and bolts. The giant accessory kit ($29.95) includes everything above
plus an additional 10 nuts and bolts.
**Please note that United, Northwest, Horizon, and Alaska Airlines are currently requiring that all crates be
assembled with hardware. If you are flying with either of these airlines, you will need this accessory kit.
